Mystery Riders

Welcome to the Mystery Riders, a spirited community of motorcycle enthusiasts who embrace the thrill of the open road and the camaraderie of fellow riders.  Our journey began with a small group of devoted riders who made it their mission to hit the road once a week.  These pioneers, who coined the name Mystery Riders, chose Thursday mornings as their ride start time, setting the stage for what would become a cherished tradition.

In those early days, our numbers were modest, sometimes as few as three riders, but the spirit of adventure and the bonds of friendship were strong.  We opened our arms to all motorcycle riders, regardless of the brand they rode or where they called home.  Despite the remote location of Sun City Festival in relation to Surprise, AZ, our dedicated riders from Festival and Foothills consistently showed up, creating a tight-knit community united by a shared love of riding.

Our meetings, often held in members’ homes or local restaurants, were intimate gatherings where we shared stories, planned rides, and enjoyed each other’s company.  It was common to host several parties a year, always welcoming members and their significant others into our homes, no matter how small.  These gatherings were the heart and soul of the Mystery Riders, fostering a sense of belonging and community.

Today, the Mystery riders proudly stand as the only represented motorcycle riding group within the Festival Community.  Our rides take us through breathtaking landscapes, offering both challenge and beauty, and our events continue to bring us closer together.  We remain committed to our founding principles of inclusivity and camaraderie, welcoming all who share our passion for motorcycles and the open road.
